Claire Zaida Fuenzalida graduated from Ringling College Art of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, specializing in Illustration. At Ringling, they were also given several honors, including receiving the Horizon Scholarship for four years and being put on the President’s list during their senior year. Claire was also selected to attend a special workshop by Disney Live Entertainment on project management. They are a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.

 

Claire mainly works in Procreate but is also skilled in Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint, as well as in gouache painting and colored pencil.

 

Claire’s artwork lends itself to children’s media, as it is colorful, graphic, and full of heart. They always loved reading books as a kid and want to bring the joy they felt then to kids around the world through their artwork.

 

Claire is open to projects in children's books, book covers, and editorial.
